Join us for the VIPERLAB Data Management Workshop!
Date: 26.7.2023
Time: 10:30-16:30
Location: Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg, Cauerstr. 1 , 91058 Erlangen- Germany
The Viperlab Data Management Workshop is a full-day event focused on materials research data management, offering an overview of the most relevant strategies and opportunities offered by NOMAD-LAB and NEO4J databases for projects such as VIPERLAB involved on Solar Perovskite material and devices.
We invite researchers, industry professionals, and anyone interested in data management to join us for this event which promises to be a valuable platform for staying up to date with the latest advancements and fostering collaboration in the field of data management for materials research.
Experts from different German research institutes together with representatives of both NOMAD-LAB and NEO4J databases will share insights on projects and databases dedicated to storing research data based on FAIR rules.
Discussions will revolve around extending existing environments for data management and exploring integrated research environments designed to harness the power of data-driven approaches, also in the perspective of tight collaboration with them
The agenda also includes sessions on the application of semantically linked materials data, the development of specialized ontologies based on specific research areas, and the transition from materials research data to the concept of a Digital Twin. Additionally, participants will receive updates on curated databases focused on emerging photovoltaic technologies.
During the workshop, there will be ample opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange, as well as the chance to visit the AMANDA Lab, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge research and fostering discussions in an informal setting.
We warmly invite you to participate on-site, but provision for online access is also considered.
