[WORKSHOP]
The 14th International Conference on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics took place online from the 19th to the 20th of May 2022, and in Valencia, Spain from the 23th to the 25th of May 2022.
In these past ten years, hybrid and organic solar cells have shown remarkable advances in terms of efficiency and lifetime, and they are already finding initial commercial applications. As such, they present both fascinating opportunities and challenges for scientific research and technological development. The main topics of this conference are the development, function, and modeling of materials and devices for hybrid and organic solar cells, including solar cells, organic solar cells, quantum dot solar cells, and dye-sensitized solar cells, together with their integration into complimentary devices such as photoelectrochemical water splitting. Building upon the success of the previous HOPV conferences, the conference will provide an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers around the world to discuss the latest developments in hybrid and organic photovoltaics.
The conference was led by world-leading invited speakers covering a broad range of the latest scientific advances in morning plenary sessions, and afternoon parallel session

Prof. Eva Unger, VIPERLAB project coordinator is one of the co-organizers of the conference
After the EU-PVSEC (in September 2021) participation with an online poster, VIPERLAB project was advertised to the perovskite community during the first physical conference in which the project has participated @ HOPV-22 in Valencia, Spain.
The VIPERLAB project had at the industry booth a stand and Dr. Natalia Maticiuc, the Project technical manager answered the questions from interested participants regarding VIPERLAB transnational access offer distributing flyers with the main information and useful links regarding the ongoing and upcoming calls. Moreover, the Project was again introduced to the entire conference audience during one of the plennary session. Right after the HOPV conference, three students that interracted with VIPERLAB representatives during the conference have submitted their proposals for the third round of the VIPERLAB call for access.
