Scientist
Competence Unit Energy Conversion & Hydrogen @ AIT
Ankit Mittal received his M.Sc. in renewable energy from University of Oldenburg, Germany in 2012 under EUREC programme. He is currently finishing his PhD studies in the field of investigating metastabilities in thin-film photovoltaics at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Vienna. His expertise lies in the field of characterization and defect studies of the thin-film PV technologies. Currently, he is working as a junior scientist at the AIT and responsible for the measurements of the PV modules according to the IEC standard type approval testing and additionally for different research projects.

We present other two VIPERLAB Research Infrastructures. The first, CHOSE consists of two main infrastructures: the CHOSE@ROME, is located on the campus of the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy), and focuses on technological manufacturing processes and device characterization. CHOSE@TURIN, is an infrastructure associated with the University of Turin (Italy) focused on the development of materials. The secon, AIT Viperlab Reseach infrastructures focusses on characterization and reliability tools for the accreditation tests of PV modules, and tools for PV deposition, characterization/reliability and development of thin film coatings.
