Mission
Joining the Solar Energy Storage and Technologies department, your mission will consist in the development of new tools, which allow the characterisation, design and optimisation of solar components and systems. Specifically, you will be able to carry out the following tasks, among others:
Tasks
- Design, development and optimisation of systems for measuring and characterising solar components. Including test bench design, instrumentation (optical systems, cameras, photodiode sensors, fibre optics, emitters, etc.), SCADA system, development of software for control, monitoring and data and image processing, design of the measurement methodology and practical implementation of the methodology. It will also include in-plant inspection systems based on characterisation techniques and massive data processing.
- Development of software tools for the simulation, design and optimisation of solar components and plants. Based on the simulation capabilities of the department, its own and commercial software, it will participate in the tasks of both the development of new software utilities and the use of this for the design and optimisation of solar systems.
- In addition, the following tasks are foreseen in relation to the management of the projects in which he/she will carry out his/her activities:
- Preparation of documentation: test reports, manuals, monitoring reports in R&D projects…
- Leadership and/or participation in technical coordination meetings.
- Participation in the preparation of R&D proposals and commercial offers.
- Making technical presentations at congresses.
- Publications in technical journals.
